<\/h6>\ntrailers: where white trash lives (jaxpsychogeo.com)<\/em><\/h6>\nfirst off, some of the rather\u00a0conspicuous\u00a0traits that\u00a0apparently would remove me from the\u00a0white trash tent. i live in mexico, i graduated\u00a0from college, never seen a\u00a0nascar race or hunted squirrel and oh yeah, i can access satellite photos to look for my ol childhood mobile home\u00a0from space.<\/p>\n
on the other side of it, i eat more pork rinds in mexico than i ever did in rural iowa. i emit a general pastiness despite several years under the mexican sunshine. hours and hours spent in mexican walmarts.\u00a0my hair is super stringy. \u00a0carl’s jr. is a tasty treat. i never have enough money at the end of the month.\u00a0i wear white tube socks every day.<\/p>\n

indeed there were some white kids took it a little further than most in terms of \u00a0fashion and language.\u00a0my erudite homie judd, rest his jiggy\u00a0soul. referred to them as riggaz. ironically, rural iowa gangstaz (riggaz) were fascinated by the hip hop culture created by\u00a0urban, black youth. so the lines on this white trash thang been gettin blurred\u00a0for awhile. i can’t even remember if riggaz were supposed to prove that i am white trash or disprove it.<\/p>\n
the “white” in white trash has always been significant, but\u00a0we are at a fork in the road. donald trump has seduced\u00a0the darker realities of white trash political thought and philosophy these past 16 months, but there is\u00a0probly not enough white trash to elect him\u00a0president. so are white trash ideals all in with trump? when he\u00a0loses, will it be seen as a rejection of white trash values? will white trash wither\u00a0away like neo-baroque architecture, the roaring twenties or joe paterno?\u00a0or should we expect a\u00a0more condensed, white hot white trash that will keep on burning for years; incessantly\u00a0insisting that multiculturalism has destroyed us?<\/p>\n

a social structure with\u00a0top to bottom uniformity on what’s delicious, good fun or cool is not realistic or desired. social media has made our\u00a0fragmentation of opinion more obvious, but\u00a0hasn’t \u00a0made the understanding of\u00a0our differences more cordial. confusion, frustration and anger\u00a0abound.<\/p>\n
i think i found the top of the trailer\u00a0i lived in during my formative years when i was looking for it on google earth, but apparently google has never taken a picture of the facade or the backyard from down on the ground. maybe i’ll check again in a few months.<\/p>\n
