mother<\/em>. a country, with <em>whom<\/em>, <em>like it or not<\/em>, we are <em>inexorably<\/em>, deeply involved, in a close but often <em>uncomfortable<\/em> <em>embrace<\/em>.<\/h4>\n<p><strong><em>brother from another mother<\/em><\/strong> means that we are not biological brothers but still <em>closely related<\/em>.\u00a0 <em>whom<\/em> is the equivalent of <em>who<\/em>: <strong><em>who<\/em><\/strong> is a subject, it performs an action.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/richyrocks.com\/coolenglish\/tag\/whom-definition\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>whom<\/em><\/strong><\/a> is an object, it receives an action.\u00a0 this is a <a href=\"https:\/\/richyrocks.com\/coolenglish\/tag\/tricky-definition\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tricky<\/a> point that is made <em>trickier<\/em> by the verb <em>involve<\/em> in this example &#8211;is mexico performing or receiving <em>involve<\/em>? &#x1f635;&#x200d;&#x1f4ab;\u00a0 confusing!\u00a0 but don&#8217;t make yourself too crazy worrying about it. native speakers do not always <a
