noreferrer\"><strong><em>overdue<\/em><\/strong><\/a>. and it originated in iowa! i&#8217;m filled with mexican and iowan <a href=\"https:\/\/richyrocks.com\/coolenglish\/tag\/pride-definition\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pride<\/a>. &#x1f602;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><a href=\"https:\/\/edition.cnn.com\/2020\/10\/18\/us\/no-love-no-tacos-la-carreta-mexican-grill-trnd\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">an article by <strong>gustavo valdes<\/strong> on <strong>cnn.com<\/strong><\/a> reports&#8230;<\/div>\n<h4 class=\"zn-body__paragraph\">la carreta <em>has been serving<\/em> mexican food for 20 years in marshalltown, a small community about 50 miles northeast of des moines [the capital of iowa]. alfonso medina <em>took over<\/em> the family restaurant business a couple of years ago. his parents <em>migrated<\/em> from mexico more than three decades ago and he <em>was born<\/em> in iowa..[medina says he was] made in mexico, <em>delivered<\/em> in the u.s.<\/h4>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" but one <em>such<\/em> letter caught his attention. it was typed with no return address or signature. they addressed him by name and accused him of <em>caving in<\/em> to political correctness, but they also called him a <em>leftist<\/em> marxist&#8230; the letter also has a <em>handwritten<\/em> part expressing disappointment la carreta decided to display a sign that insults and disrespects christianity and america.<\/h4>\n<p><strong><em>not long after<\/em><\/strong> means <em>a little later<\/em>.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/richyrocks.com\/coolenglish\/tag\/even-definition\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong><em>even<\/em><\/strong><\/a> emphasizes the fact that medina got letters in addition to social media response. <a href=\"https:\/\/richyrocks.com\/coolenglish\/tag\/such-definition\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em><strong>such<\/strong><\/em><\/a> means <em>of that type<\/em>. words at the end of [the post] that went <em>viral<\/em>: no love, no tacos. and the phrase <em>took off<\/em>, becoming the new <em>slogan<\/em> of the restaurant.<\/h4>\n<div>make sure to pronounce
