autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>let&#8217;s <strong><em>pick up where we left off <\/em><\/strong>(resume, start where we finished <a href=\"https:\/\/richyrocks.com\/coolenglish\/toluca-lyric-8-circles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">last time<\/a>)&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>the description <em>fuckin&#8217; weird<\/em> is used at 2:00. <em><strong><\/strong><\/em> means <em>strange. <\/em><em><strong>fuckin&#8217;<\/strong><\/em>, a <strong><\/strong> of<em> fucking<\/em>, is used for emphasis.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong><\/strong><\/em> is used in the lyrics of <em>circles<\/em>. at 2:07 in toluca lyric 8 the idea of <em>upside down<\/em> is visually demonstrated and there is a reminder at 2:17 to be sure to check another post here on richyrocks.com that talks about both <em>upside down<\/em> (with the top where the bottom should be) and a related adverb <em>inside out<\/em> (with the inside on the outside). <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/richyrocks.com\/coolenglish\/joy-inside-out-and-other-places\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">inside out<\/a><\/em><\/strong> is the title of a pixar movie but does not appear in the lyrics of <em>circles<\/em>. <strong><em>thus<\/em><\/strong> (that&#8217;s why) the observation at 2:15 that <em>this ain&#8217;t pixar, brother<\/em>. <em><strong><\/strong><\/em>replaces <em>isn&#8217;t<\/em>; it is considered poor grammar but it is used a LOT.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-10430\" src=\"https:\/\/richyrocks.com\/coolenglish\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/rich_insideout_header_mobile_ce11b9a6-202x300.jpeg\" alt=\"inside out movie poster--inside out idiom\" width=\"202\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/richyrocks.com\/coolenglish\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/rich_insideout_header_mobile_ce11b9a6-202x300.jpeg 202w, https:\/\/richyrocks.com\/coolenglish\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/rich_insideout_header_mobile_ce11b9a6.jpeg 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 202px) 100vw, 202px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>in fact, <em>ain&#8217;t<\/em> is used in the lyrics to <em>circles<\/em>. at 2:34 in toluca lyric 8 the lyric <em>ain&#8217;t too proud<\/em> appears in a graphic. in my classes, it&#8217;s common for students to use <em>too <\/em>when they want to say <i>very<\/i>. this is usually a mistake as <strong><em><a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/too-definition\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">too<\/a><\/em><\/strong> refers to <em>passing a limit<\/em> or <em>crossing a line<\/em> in these contexts, but this lyric is an example of <em>too<\/em> meaning very. post malone <em>ain&#8217;t <\/em><u><em>very<\/em><\/u> proud of being the bad guy.<\/p>\n<p>the lyric <em>i&#8217;ll be the bad guy now<\/em> is sung at 2:20 in toluca lyric 8 and followed by <em>like that billie eilish song<\/em>. this is a reference to billie eilish&#8217;s gigantic hit <strong><em>bad guy<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Billie Eilish - bad guy\" width=\"758\" height=\"426\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/DyDfgMOUjCI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>at 2:40, <em><strong><\/strong><\/em><em> emphasizes<\/em> that post malone&#8217;s effort didn&#8217;t make any difference.<\/p>\n<p>the first line of the second verse of <em>circles<\/em>, spoken at 2:47, is&#8230;<\/p>\n<h4><em>i gotta feeling<\/em> that it&#8217;s time to let go<\/h4>\n<p>the idea of<strong><em> let go<\/em><\/strong> is illustrated in the video at 2:54 it means <em>release<\/em>, the opposite of <em>hold on<\/em>. <strong><em>i gotta feeling<\/em><\/strong> is a  of <em>i have got a feeling, <\/em>the<strong><\/strong>, which is the same as saying &#8220;i have a feeling&#8221;. it is the title and a lyric used several times in this popular song by the <strong>black eyed peas<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Black Eyed Peas - I Gotta Feeling (Official Music Video)\" width=\"758\" height=\"426\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/uSD4vsh1zDA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer;
